Free on Kindle from Wed 5th to Sun 9 March. The Webs of Time – 8 short stories from The Humorous Time Travel Diaries of James Urquhart and Elizabeth Bicester.
Download it here. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07LDV3WB7
Step into The Webs of Time and join James Urquhart, a confused science lecturer from 2015, and Elizabeth Bicester, a sharp-witted Victorian graduate, as they stumble through space-time trying to deal with Martian seas, malfunctioning time machines, and catastrophic paradoxes.
For those of you who aspire to being Time Travellers, and wish to join James and Elizabeth on their escapades, here are a few survival tips.
✔ Avoid patisseries. They may look innocent, but trust us, they are gateways to chaos.
✔ Never enter a “Magic Shop” and ask for help if your time machine has broken down.
✔ Be wary of H.G. Wells—he gives suspiciously convenient advice.
✔ Before being overly affectionate with your Victorian wife in public, check which timeline she’s from.
However, if you need a break from the chaos, a relaxing romantic holiday with your Victorian girlfriend (if you have one) might help. But I would advise “clubbing in Hartlepool” and “camping in Cornwall” should be crossed off your list immediately!
